Overview
The Staff Kiosk ‘Payroll/HR’ menu provides a central hub for staff, supervisors and administrators to manage employee details, leave, timesheets, professional development and key HR configuration.
This menu can be accessed by navigating to the Staff Kiosk Toolbar and selecting ‘Payroll/HR'.
About the Payroll/HR Menu
The ‘Payroll/HR’ menu provides options for staff self-service, supervisors, approvers, and administrators. Click the program name for more information.
Staff can use My Payroll/HR to view and update their own personal and employment details, access pay information, and submit Leave / Other Applications, Timesheets, and HR‑related Requests. They can also record and track their own Professional Development (PD) activities using the PD Activities – My (View), PD Activities – My (Add), PD Activities – My (Maintain) programs.
Supervisors can use My Staff Leave/Other Applications and Staff Timesheets to review, edit and approve their staff’s online leave applications and timesheets. They can also manage and report on their team’s PD activities via PD Activities – My Staff (Maintain), and access reports such as Leave Analysis Report – Staff and Qualifications – Staff (Report) to monitor leave usage, staff qualifications and compliance.
Administrators can configure how leave and other applications behave using Other Types (Setup),Leave Types (Setup), Public Holidays (Setup) and Application Parameters (Setup). These programs control the definition of payroll and non‑payroll leave types, approver workflows, public holiday calendars and key behaviour and wording for Staff Kiosk online leave applications, timesheets and PD processes across the school.
