Overview
The Staff Kiosk ‘Calendar’ menu brings together tools for managing personal and whole‑school scheduling, student appointments, notices and underlying setup.
This menu can be accessed by navigating to the Staff Kiosk Toolbar, and selecting ‘Calendar’.
User Security Permissions
Access to the programs within this menu is controlled by security points in the ‘Calendar' section of TASS.web System Admin > Users > Portal Security Permissions for Staff Kiosk. Each program has its own separate security point. Refer to the relevant program article for more information or contact your school’s TASS System Administrator for access.
About the Calendar Menu
Use My Calendar to view and sync your own timetable, events and feeds, while the Student Appointment Log tracks and manages individual student appointments created by staff or via self‑registration.
Daily Notices and the Daily Notices (Report) / Calendar/Notices (Report) programs let you publish and print notices alongside school events from the School Calendar, which can also be bulk‑maintained via School Calendar (Upload).
The setup-related programs in this menu – Resources/Venues (Setup), Event Categories (Setup), Calendar Feeds (Setup), Appointment Categories (Setup), Appointment Types (Setup), Appointment Parameters (Setup) and Parameters (Setup) (Calendar) – define how events, notices, appointments, resources and calendar feeds behave and display across Staff Kiosk, Student Café, Parent Lounge and any other integrated API or portals.
