How do I change the recipients of Pastoral Care automatic notifications?

There are two areas where you can define automatic communications for Pastoral Care Entries:

  • From Staff Kiosk Pastoral Care > Types (Setup), use the 'Automatic Notifications' section for each Type to specify staff notified when a Pastoral Care Entry is logged with this Type selected.

  • From Staff Kiosk Pastoral Care > Conduct (Setup), use the 'Automatic Notifications' section for each Conduct to specify whether Email, SMS, or Notifications are sent to selected Staff Roles or Parents when a Pastoral Care Entry logs this Conduct. Staff Roles that can be included in this correspondence are Class Teachers, PC/Tutor Group Teacher, Head of Year, Year Administrators

    Head of House and House Administrators.

Use the following programs to assign staff to the following roles:

Use TASS.web Student Admin > Parent Records > Setup Information > Parent Records Setup on the 'School Section Years' tab.

Year Administrators

Use TASS.web Student Admin > Parent Records > Setup Information > Parent Records Setup on the 'School Section Years' tab.

Head of House

Use TASS.web Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Student Records Setup on the 'Houses' tab.

House Administrators

Use TASS.web Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Student Records Setup on the 'Houses' tab.

PC/Tutor Group Teachers

Teachers are allocated to PC/Tutor Groups using TASS.web Student Admin > Teacher Records > Teacher Information > Teacher Grid Entry or TASS.web Student Admin > Teacher Records > Teacher Information > Teachers.

Students are allocated into PC/Tutor Groups in TASS.web Student Admin > Student Records > Student Information > Students on the ‘General’ tab or TASS.web Student Admin > Student Records > Student Information > Student Grid Entry.

Selecting the ‘Parent' automatic notification option sends a notification to parents who have the 'Staff Kiosk Correspondence (Staff Corr)' Communication Rule enabled in the TASS.web Student Admin > Student Records > Student Information > Students on the 'Addresses & Comm Rules’ tab.
