Pastoral Care (Student Profile)
Overview
The ‘Pastoral Care’ section of the Staff Kiosk Student Profile:
Displays a list of Pastoral Care Entries for the Current Year, Current Semester or a predetermined number of days.
Displays the student's allocated starting points and his/her accumulated points (if your school is running a points-based Pastoral Care system).
Allows you to add/edit or cancel a PC Entry.
Displays a list of all PC Entries across all years for this student (use the 'See All' button)
Allows you to set the 'Completed' flag for existing PC Entries (use the 'See All' button, then tick the Entries that you need to flag as completed)
Allows you to print a report with PC Entries for this student based on your selections (use the 'See All' button)
The functionality available after using the 'See All' button is the same as Staff Kiosk Pastoral Care > PC Entries, but specific to this student only.
Past Student Pastoral Care Entries
To view Past Student Pastoral Care entries on the Student Profile, users must have the ‘--Past Students’ security point enabled in the ‘Student Profile’ section of TASS.web System Admin > Users > Portal Security Permissions for ‘Staff Kiosk’.
In the Student Profile program, a ‘Past Student’ is any student whose ‘Date of Leaving’ is set to a date prior to today’s date on their Student Record in TASS.web Student Admin > Student Information > Students on the ‘General’ tab.
The 'Analytics' section of the Staff Kiosk Student Profile displays a tally of PC Entries for the semester or term, covering both subject and non-subject entries. It uses green, yellow, and red indicators to represent positive, neutral, and negative entries.
User Security Permissions
Access to this program is controlled by the ‘Student Profile’ and ‘Pastoral Care’ security points in the Student section of TASS.web System Admin > Users > Portal Security Permissions for Staff Kiosk.
To view Past Student Pastoral Care entries on the Student Profile, users must have the ‘--Past Students’ permission points enabled in the ‘Student Profile - Pastoral Care’ section of TASS.web System Admin > Users > Portal Security Permissions for ‘Staff Kiosk’.
Contact your school’s TASS System Administrator for access.
User Security Permissions
Each Pastoral Care Conduct has its own security point in the ‘Pastoral Care’ section of TASS.web System Admin > Users > Portal Security Permissions for Staff Kiosk.
Staff Kiosk users must have the relevant Conduct-related security point assigned to view the conduct in:
Staff Kiosk Pastoral Care > PC Entries
Staff Kiosk Pastoral Care > PC Entries (Lists/Emails)
Staff Kiosk Student Search > Student Profile > Pastoral Care
