EHR - PD Types Tab (SU)

Overview

The ‘PD Types’ tab is used to define the PD Types that will become available when adding PD Activities to an Employee Record.

It can be accessed by navigating to TASS.web Payroll HRM > Employee/HR > Setup Information > Employee/HR Setup.

User Security Permissions

Access to this tab is controlled by the ‘Employee/HR Setup’ and ‘--- PD Types tab’ security points in TASS.web System Admin > Users > User Maintenance or TASS.web System Admin > Users > Security Role Permissions. Contact your school’s TASS System Administrator for access.

About the PD Types Tab

Use this tab to create the PD Types that will become available when adding data through the 'PD Activities' tab in:

Examples could be:

  • Employer directed and supported.

  • Individually identified.

  • School supported.

Important!

PD Types cannot be deleted after they have been used on an employee record.

Care should also be taken when changing the description, as existing PD Activity records using this PD Type will be affected by the change.
