System Admin Initial Setups Video

This video introduces key concepts and initial setup tasks within TASS.web, focusing on how schools first access and configure the system for day‑to‑day use. It explains logging in via a web URL, minimum system and browser requirements, and the purpose of the root user account, before highlighting how to use the built‑in online help for setup guidance. The video then steps through company records, showing how a school is defined as an accounting and administration entity, how demo and live companies are used, and how extended user‑defined fields and notes can be configured to store customised school information. Finally, it demonstrates completing core company details such as school names, logos, addresses, website and map links, and how this information is surfaced across Staff Kiosk, Student Cafe and Parent Lounge.
