This video takes you through the workflow of how to import student subject data in:
TASS.web Student Admin > Timetable > External Data Interface > Define Subject/Class Translations.
TASS.web Student Admin > Timetable > External Data Interface > Import Student Subject Data.
It provides a step-by-step walkthrough of importing student subject data into TASS using an external timetable generation package. It explains how to prepare subject and class data in supported timetable software, then use the External Data Interface in TASS.web to map external subject and class codes to TASS equivalents. The video demonstrates setting up subject class translations, reviewing sample data, and importing the student subject file while selecting the correct year, semester, file format and import options. It also explains the different import methods—such as preserving, overwriting or removing existing data—and highlights when each option should be used, concluding with how to review exception reports and confirm a successful import.
