It starts with building the timetable in a supported external generation package and then using the External Data Interface in TASS.web to map, import, validate and generate the master timetable. It explains how to define the import file structure, map fields, set up subject and class translations where required, and handle common issues during import and validation. The video also demonstrates resolving exceptions, validating imported data, and finally generating the master timetable so it becomes the live timetable available to staff and students, including display in Staff Kiosk and Student Cafe.
