CP - View Relationships

Overview

To get to this facility, you need to:

  1. Use the 'Person Search' screen to find the person you want to edit.

  2. On the 'Person Search Results' screen, click on the 'Relationship' link in the 'Action' column (next to the relevant person who you want to edit).

  3. This will build a 'Relationship' tree with the person at the centre of the tree.

Person Relationships – View Mode

The 'Person Relationships – View' screen will display the most detail regarding relationships. It will display the following relationships for any selected person.

  • Grand Parents.

  • Parents.

  • Children.

  • Grand Children.

  • Partners (Including former partners).

  • Partners of Partners (i.e. Where a former partner has remarried, or a current partner has a former partner).

  • Siblings.

  • Partners of Sibling.

Where a 'Partner', 'Partner of a Partner', 'Sibling' or 'Partner of a Sibling' has a 'Child' relationship, then an icon of a 'pram' will appear next to that person's name.

Each person's name within the 'Person Relationships' view screen contains a hover-over which will display that respective person's 'person number' and their TASS Entity types. Clicking a person's name within the family tree will then re-render the family tree with that person in the centre and therefore displaying that selected person's relationships.

There are a number of functional icons available in the centre of the family tree. These functional icons relate to the person who is in the centre of the family tree.
