Why can't I see Payment Schedules on Parent Lounge?

If a parent is unable to view a Payment Schedule in Parent Lounge, check the following:  

Check that the ‘Payment Schedule Transaction Cut-Off Date’ matches the ‘Statement Cut-Off Date’.

To check the ‘Payment Schedule Transaction Cut-Off Date’:

  • Use TASS.web program Finance > Parent Accounts > Billing Cycle > Payment Schedules. Review the ‘Transaction Cut-off Date’ column.

 To check the ‘Statement Cut-Off Date’:

  • For multiple parents, use TASS.web program Finance > Parent Accounts > Billing Cycle > Published Parent Statements. Review the ‘Statement Cut-Off Date’ column.

  • For one or two parents, use TASS.web program Finance > Parent Accounts > Account Information > Parent Account Inquiry > select parent > ‘Statements’ tab. Review the ‘Cut-Off Date’ column.

Check if a Payment Method has been set up by the parent in Parent Lounge.

Use the ‘Ghost Login’ link in TASS.web program Finance > Parent Accounts > Account Information > Parent Account Inquiry on the ‘General’ tab.

Navigate to Parent Lounge Accounts & Payments > School Fees Account and select ‘Payment Methods’.

Check that the Statement has been published in Parent Lounge.

Use the ‘Ghost Login’ link on the ‘General’ tab of TASS.web program Finance > Parent Accounts > Account Information > Parent Account Inquiry.

Navigate to Parent Lounge Accounts & Payments > School Fees Account and select ‘Statements’.

If the Statement is missing, use the TASS.web program Finance > Parent Accounts > Billing Cycle > Parent Statements to publish it using the ‘Publish Statements / Generate Parent Lounge payment details’ option available on the ‘Print’ tab.

Check the ‘Display Published Statements in Parent Lounge' settings are correct for the period in TASS.web program Finance > Parent Accounts > Setup Information > Parent Accounts Setup on the 'Parent Lounge’ tab.

Check that there is a charge on the Statement. There must be a charge on the Statement.

Use TASS.web program Finance > Parent Accounts > Account Information > Parent Account Inquiry on the ‘Statements’ tab.

Check that Charges and Credits are flagged with the correct Statement Date.

Use TASS.web program Finance > Parent Accounts > Charges & Credits > Charges & Credits.

Check that User Security Permissions are enabled.

Check that the ‘School Fees Account’ and ‘School Fees Account - Payment Schedule’ permissions are enabled for Parent Lounge in TASS.web program System Admin > Users > Portal Security Permissions.
