How do I mark attendance for Pastoral Care Outcome Calendar Events?

Student attendance for Pastoral Care Outcome Calendar Events differs from regular attendance rolls.

The staff member responsible for the outcome event can mark it as ‘Completed’ in the Pastoral Care module; there is no ‘present’ or ‘absent’ status.

The staff member responsible for the Outcome-related Calendar Event can:

  1. Go to Staff Kiosk Pastoral Care > PC Entries

  2. On the ‘PC Entries List’ screen, use the ‘Outcome’ and ‘Calendar’ display filters to list students scheduled to attend the event.

  3. Use the checkbox/es in the ‘Completed’ column to indicate which students attended the event.

  4. Click ‘Update’ to save the details.

If necessary, your school may require a Custom Roll for the Calendar Event, which can be created manually from Staff Kiosk Rollcall > Custom Rolls.

The Pastoral Care program does not link to Custom Rolls. Marking a PC Outcome attendance from a Custom Roll does not update the PC Entry program; you must also check the ‘Completed’ boxes in the PC Entries program to flag the PC Outcome as complete.
