Why isn't a subject showing on an Academic Report?

Subjects will not appear on Academic Reports when one of the following items is missing:

Scenario

Solution

There are no 'Objectives' set to be displayed.

Go to: TASS.web Student Admin > Academic Reporting > Setup Information > Assessment Setup on the Result Formats’ tab:

  • Select the results set you are working in and locate the subject that does not appear in the report.

  • Ensure that there is at least one objective configured with the tick box option Display on Academic Report

There is no comment OR result for the student.

  1. Go to: TASS.web Student Admin > Student Records > Student Information > Students:
Ensure there's a result or comment for the subject in question, for the reporting period.

Tip

The ‘Period' on the Student Record, is not the Term/Semester, it's the Reporting Period. To determine if you're looking at the correct Reporting Period, navigate to: TASS.web Student Admin > Academic Reporting > Setup Information > Assessment Setup on the 'Result Periods’ tab.

2. If there isn't a result/comment, re-open the reporting period (if needed) and enter results/comments through webBook.

The 'Reporting Flag' on the Subject Record is set to No.

Go to: TASS.web Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Student Records Setup on the Subjects’ tab.

  • Edit the relevant subject and update the 'Reporting Flag'.
