Major Student Administration-related enhancements introduced in v53, Released in Sept 2020.
This video provides an overview of the major Student Administration enhancements introduced in TASS Version 53, focusing on inclusivity, student self‑service and improved communication workflows. Key updates include the introduction of Gender Fluidity, allowing schools to define and manage additional genders across all records, communications and government reporting, a new illness self‑registration system enabling students to sign in and out of sickbay independently, expanded system‑generated email templates for attendance and pastoral care communication, optional long‑form SMS messaging, and new enrolment reporting with enhanced religion categorisation. Together, these enhancements support more inclusive data management, reduce administrative overhead and improve visibility and communication across the school community.
