Major Portal Enhancements Introduced in v53, Released in Sept 2020.
This video provides an overview of the major portal enhancements introduced in TASS Version 53, with a focus on improvements across Student Cafe, Parent Lounge and Staff Kiosk. It introduces a new My Details section in Student Cafe, giving students access to key identifiers and contact information, expands student access to academic analytics dashboards previously available only to parents, and delivers a new extracurricular sign‑up workflow where students reserve places and parents provide final approval, including payments and confirmations. Additional enhancements include configurable system‑generated emails for extracurricular workflows, new sign‑up notes and attachments, automated cancellation notifications, and significant reporting improvements within learning support in Staff Kiosk, including new listings, templates and printable support and class plans with signatures.
