PR - PAYG P Sum Tab
Overview
The ‘PAYG P Sum’ tab on the Employee Record details the employee's annual PAYG Payment Summary information from the years before Single Touch Payroll.
With the introduction of Single Touch Payroll, PAYG Payment Summaries are no longer used. This tab allows you to access historical payment summary information for the financial years (FY) before Single Touch Payroll implementation (e.g., FY 2009/2010 to FY 2017/2018).
This tab can be accessed by navigating to TASS.web Payroll HRM > Payroll > Employee Information > Employees.
This information can also be viewed and maintained in TASS.web Payroll HRM > Employee/HR > Employee Information > Employees on the ‘PAYG P Sum’ tab.
Important!
This tab has its own separate security point. Because this program is shared between TASS.web Payroll/HRM > Employee/HR > Employee Information > Employees and Payroll/HRM > Payroll > Employee Information > Employees. It is important to verify that the HR users granted security access to this tab are eligible to use it.
About the PAYG Payment Summary Tab
A PAYG Payment Summary (also known as a group certificate) displays the total payments made to an employee during the financial year, including salary, wages, bonuses, and allowances. It also shows the total amount of tax withheld from those payments.
Click ‘View’ to display the ‘PAYG Payment Summary Details’ screen.
Current employees can access these payment summaries from Staff Kiosk Payroll/HR > My Payroll/HR > PAYG Payment Summaries.
Click the ‘Print Payment Summary’ icon at the top of the screen to retrieve a PDF copy of the employee's PAYG Payment Summary.
