MER - Immunisations Tab (SU)
Overview
The ‘Immunisations’ tab in the Medical Setup program displays and maintains the immunisation and inoculation types referenced throughout Medical Records, such as Malaria and Typhoid.
To set up a new immunisation, use the 'New Immunisation' button to display the 'Immunisations' pop-up screen.
Fields that require detailed information | |
---|---|
Code | A mandatory field that requires a unique, 2 character, alphanumeric code as the identifier for each type of immunisation, e.g. RU. |
Description | Enter a description of up to 20 characters to describe the nominated immunisation, e.g. Rubella. |
Parent Lounge Flag | Use the 'Parent Lounge' tab, here on the Medical Setup program, to allow parents to access (and potentially update) the details that the school has recorded for their child's immunisations (through Parent Lounge). Tick this box, if this immunisation type is to be visible to parents. |
Standard Flag (Y/N) | Standard immunisations will be automatically added to the 'Add an Immunisation Record' screen in TASS.web Student Admin > Medical Records > Student Information > Student Medical under the 'Immunisations Tab'. They may then be deleted from a particular student if necessary. Tick the box if this is an immunisation that would be common to most students. |
The 'View', 'Edit' and 'Delete' buttons allow you to action existing immunisations individually.
TASS.web will not let you delete an immunisation code that is currently in use in a Student Medical Record or has an 'Unprocessed' update from Parent Lounge.
