EHR - Address Tab
This tab displays the Employee's address information. Changes made on this tab will also appear on the Teacher record where the Employee and Teacher records are linked.
If your school is an Australian school (this is indicated to the system where the 'Country Code' field is 'AUS' in TASS.web program Payroll/HRM > Employee/HR > Setup Information > Employee/HR Setup) and is running payroll, then additional validation is applied to several fields below.

Employee Name | This field will be automatically derived as a combination of data from the 'Title', 'Initials' and 'Surname' fields. It cannot be edited. |
*Address Line 1 Address Line 2 | Enter the correct unit/house and street name, e.g. 31 Thompson St. If there is a unit number; enter it with a slash and no spaces, e.g. 1/31 Thompson St. Address Line 1 is mandatory for Australian schools using Payroll. When Address Validation is enabled an additional line will appear above Address Line 1. The Address Search field will have a Magnifying Glass icon. When you type into the field a list of matching addresses will be displayed from the Address Validation API. Address Validation is enabled when the Address Validation API has been enabled in System Admin > Utilities > API Gateway Maintenance and the Address Validation API Licence installed. |
*Town/Suburb | This field will up-shift the characters as they are entered. This is a mandatory field for Australian schools using Payroll. |
*State | This field will up-shift the characters as they are entered. This is a conditional field for Australian schools using Payroll. If Single Touch Payroll is enabled and a 'Country' has been chosen, this field is not available. If the 'Country' field is blank, it must be one of the following:

*Post Code | Alpha/Numeric 10 character field. If Single Touch Payroll is enabled:

Country | This field is not mandatory and should only be completed for overseas addresses. If Single Touch Payroll is enabled:

Address Barcode | This field is updated by the Address Validation API and is not a field that you should enter data into manually. |
Home Phone | This is a 30 character field. It is quite Ok to add multiple numbers in this field if required. An example might be PH1: 33344445, PH2: 33344446. |
Work Phone | This is a 30 character field. It is quite Ok to add multiple numbers in this field if required. |
Mobile Phone | This is a 30 character field. It is quite Ok to add multiple numbers in this field if required. |
SMS | The 'SMS' flag on the Mobile phone number field is only active if the mobile phone number is in the format of 9999999999 (e.g. 0400123123). If any spaces or alphabetical characters are used, then the SMS flag will not be available. Multiple phone numbers can be entered as 9999999999;9999999999. Tick this option to indicate that SMS messages can be generated for this teacher. SMS functionality is available in TASS.web programs:

When ticked, the Mobile Phone number(s) above will be immediately validated to ensure it is the correct format for SMS messaging. An error message will be displayed if it is invalid. |
This is a 60 character email enabled field. Use this field to enter the Employee’s personal or alternative email address. The Employee’s School Email address should be entered in the ‘School Email’ field on the ‘General tab’. You can enter multiple email addresses in this field if required. Multiple addresses must be separated by a semicolon. When the record is saved the program will automatically insert a space between email addresses. If multiple addresses are entered correctly, subsequent users will be able to click on the corresponding mail symbol next to this field and the multiple addressees will be pasted into the 'To' box in 'Outlook'. |
An employee's address information can be copied to the Windows clipboard.
Select the 'Clipboard' icon to copy basic address details to the clipboard so they can be pasted into another program (such as Word©).
