Unapproved Leave Reminder #3

The ‘Unapproved Leave Reminder #3’ email template can be customised in TASS.web System Admin > Utilities > Email Settings on the ‘System Email Templates’ tab.

This template is used during the Employee Leave Approval process in Staff Kiosk. For more information, see How to Setup Staff Kiosk Leave Applications.

* Template Name

Unapproved Leave Reminder #3

This is a read-only field and cannot be modified.

* Trigger

Number of days before first day of Leave.

This is a read-only field and cannot be modified.

* Email Subject

Enter the subject line of the email that will appear in Approvers' inboxes.

By default, this field is set to ‘Reminder: Leave Application awaiting your Approval, leave commencing soon’.

* Category

Leave Applications (LVEAPP)

This is a read-only field and cannot be modified.

Attachment File

Optional. Select '+Choose' to locate the file to attach to the email.

Banner

Optional. Select '+Choose' to locate the file that will appear as a banner heading in the email.

* Send Email At

Select the time to send this email to approvers.

* Number of Days

Enter the number of days before the first day of leave to send the reminder email.

Active

Select ‘Yes' to activate the email template or 'No’ to deactivate.

Message Body

The following default message appears, but can be customised to suit your school’s requirements.

You have received this reminder because the following Leave Application is assigned to you for approval and the first day of leave is now in <<Number of Days>> day(s). Please approve as soon as possible to ensure it is ready for processing.

     Employee:                    <<Employee Name>>
     Leave Types:               << Leave Types>>
     First Leave Date:          <<First Leave Date>>
     Last Leave Date:          <<Last Leave Date>>

This email was intended solely for the addressee.

The default system email message contains the above text and keywords (the keywords are bracketed << >>).

This message can be changed via the 'Email Settings' program using a combination of text and the keywords provided.

The email message section contains a 'Froala' toolbar with formatting tools, a pick list of keywords that can be used for keyword substitution, and a preview icon.

The following keywords can be used for keyword substitution in the email message, specifically for Leave Applications:

  • Approver Name

  • Click here to review this Leave Application

  • Date Assigned for Approval

  • Date Submitted by Employee

  • Employee Name

  • First Leave Date

  • Last Leave Date

  • Leave Types

  • Number of Days
