TT - Year/TT Definitions Tab (SU)

Timetable Year/TT Definitions Tab Overview

This is where timetables are assigned to year groups. The Year/Timetable Definitions must be set up for each Year, Term/Semester and Year Group combination. Year/TT Definitions are used in conjunction with schools running multiple timetables only.

Important!

If your school is not using multiple timetables this tab will not be available for selection, therefore this section is not needed to complete your timetable setup.

Adding Year/TT Definitions

To add a new Year/TT Definition click on the 'Add NEW Definition' button to display the 'Year/Timetable Definition' screen.

When satisfied with your entry, click on the 'Save' button to commit your changes to the TASS.web database.

Viewing and Editing Year/TT Definitions

To 'View' or 'Edit' a Year/TT Definition, click on the associated link. The 'Year/Timetable Definition' screen is then populated with detail of your chosen selection.

When satisfied with your entry, click on the 'Save' button to commit your changes to the TASS.web database.

Fields that require detailed information
Year	The year for which the year/timetable definitions are being entered.
Term/Semester	The term/semester for which the year/timetable definitions are being entered. Important! The number of terms/semesters available in this drop-down must be predefined and is set up in Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Student Records Setup.
Campus	Important! This field will only be displayed if multiple campus timetables are enabled. Nominate the campus from the picklist for which the year/timetable definitions are to be entered.
Year Group	Read-only field displaying the year groups against which the year/timetable definitions are to be entered.
Timetable ID	This field offers the user the opportunity to refer to the timetable by the unique (auto-numbered) code, or the timetable description previously defined in Student Admin > Timetable > Setup Information > Timetable Setup on the 'Timetable Definitions' tab.
