STR - House Boarder and School Totals

Overview

This program produces a 'Year Group' based student statistical report, including:

  • House numbers.
  • Gender totals.
  • Number of families.
  • Boarder status.

The report is presented in a grid format, with the columns displaying the year groups and the rows displaying the number of students that fall within each respective year group.

It can be run in a summarised or detailed format.

General Tab

Fields that require detailed explanation

Students Current as at

This field will display the date used by this report to determine the current students attending the school.

Current students as at this date are those whose Date of Entry is equal to or before this date, and they either have no Date of Leaving or a Date of Leaving equal to or after this date.

Auto Billing Account

This field can be used if you are using this report to cross-check your student numbers against your parent accounts pre-billing report.

You would select 'Auto Billed' and then check this against the number of students listed in the summary on Finance > Parent Accounts > Billing Cycle > Pre-billing Report.

Campus

You can filter your report to include data for students on one or more campuses.

For more information for recommendations on the correct use of 'Campus', refer to Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Student Records Setup on the 'Campuses' tab.

Residency Status

You can filter your report to include data for students with one or more residency statuses.

For more information, refer to Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Countries/Languages/ResStatus on the 'Residency' tab.

Print Tab

The 'Print' tab is used to format the report.

Sort By

This report sorts by House.

Formatting Options

Choose the 'destination' of the report. This can be to Adobe® PDF viewer, Microsoft Excel® or Microsoft Word®.

Show Table Borders and Alternative Row Colours

The 'Table Borders' and 'Alternate Row Colours' options can enhance the readability of the report but are not available if the listing destination is Excel®.

Include Indigenous Information

Tick this option to include a section on your report highlighting the number of indigenous students. This looks to the MCEECDYA data on the student record and will include students with the following statuses:

  1. Aboriginal.
  2. Torres Strait Islander.
  3. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.

Detailed Report

Tick this option to include basic student detail in your report.
