Parent Lounge Student UD Areas Video

This video explains how schools can configure Student UD (User Defined) Areas in TASS.web and make selected areas available for parents to view and update in Parent Lounge, streamlining data collection and reducing reliance on paper forms. It walks through creating a new UD Area, choosing appropriate field types (such as flags, dropdowns, text, dates and attachments), setting mandatory requirements, and assigning permissions for both staff and parents. The video then demonstrates the end‑to‑end workflow from a parent updating information in Parent Lounge, through to staff reviewing, approving or rejecting updates in TASS.web, and concludes by showing how the captured UD Area data can be used in reports and listings to support operational and compliance needs.
