ACR - Upload Academic Reports
Overview
The ‘Upload Academic Reports’ program allows you to upload student Academic Reports that have been prepared externally outside of TASS.web.
Uploaded reports will be stored in TASS.web Student Admin > Academic Reporting > Special Processes > Published Student Reports, where they can then be disseminated to:
Parents in Parent Lounge Student Details > Academic Reports.
Teachers in Staff Kiosk Student Search > Student Profile > Academic Reports.
Students in Student Cafe My History > Academic Reports.
Step 1: Prepare Academic Reports
The upload file must be a .zip file containing one or more Academic Reports in PDF format.
Important!
The .zip
file must not contain folders.
The file name of each Academic Report must be the student's TASS.web Student Code.
For example, the filename of the Academic Report for Andrea Clark must be CLAR002.pdf
Step 2: Setup a Reporting Period
Use the 'Result Periods' tab in TASS.web Student Admin > Academic Reporting > Setup Information > Assessment Setup to create a new reporting year and period for the Academic Reports in this upload to be stored against.
Step 3: Upload Academic Reports
In TASS.web Student Admin > Academic Reporting > Special Processes > Upload Academic Reports (this program), use the following fields to upload your Academic Report .zip file (created in Step 1) to the Reporting Year and Period' (created in Step 2).
* Reporting Year and Period | Select the 'Reporting Year and Period' created in Step 2. This is a mandatory field. |
* Filename | Click the 'Choose File' button to browse and locate the .zip file created in Step 1. |
Overwrite Existing Data | Tick this option to replace any existing student Academic Report with the Academic Report present in the Important! Academic Reports that have been overwritten are permanently removed from the system and cannot be retrieved. |
Click the 'GO' button to upload Academic Reports.
An exception report will be produced if there are any issues with the upload. You will need to address the issues outlined in the report and repeat 'Step 3'.
If the upload is successful, a report will be produced with summary details of the Academic Reports uploaded.
