Email Templates in Staff Kiosk Events & Payments

Email templates and keywords are now available for Staff Kiosk Events & Payments correspondence.

My Saved Lists - Ability to delete a list if it's in a schedule / Allow deletion of Scheduled Report

List owners can now delete their Saved Lists/Reports with schedules attached in Staff Kiosk using the same listing/report module that they created them with.

Parent Orbit Extra Curricular Hub Phase 2

The Extra Curricular module has been enhanced to support more Activity Types and Icons in the Parent Orbit Extra Curricular (EC) Hub. Previously only 'Sports' Activity Types were visible in the EC Hub.

A new collapsible tab called ‘Portal Details’ has been introduced in TASS.web Student Admin > Extra Curricular > Extra Curricular Setup > 'Activities' tab. This new tab is similar to Staff Kiosk Extra Curricular > Sports (setup) for editing the information visible to parents in the EC Hub and Sports Fixtures and Results (Sports Portal).   Schools can nominate which Extra Curricular Activities they wish to display in the EC Hub and Sports Fixtures and Results (Sports Portal) by ticking the 'Display in Portal' checkbox.

The Sports (setup) module has moved from Staff Kiosk and is now available within the TASS.web ‘Portal Details’ tab mentioned above. This change minimises the need for users to switch between on TASS.web, and Staff Kiosk when updating activity information.

A new 'Portal Icon' selection field has been added to Extra Curricular Setup > 'Activity Types' tab. Click 'Add' or 'Edit' to select an icon for display in the EC Hub. This field is only visible to schools who have a Parent Orbit license installed.

Payroll Leave App Insufficient Leave Parameters

Schools now have the option to choose how to handle Leave Applications that exceed the employee’s available leave balance.  A new setting called ‘Insufficient Leave Action’ has been introduced in Staff Kiosk Payroll/HR > Leave Types (Setup).  This setting allows users to select either ‘Warn’ or ‘Prevent’ actions for each ‘Leave Type’.

The ‘Warn’ option will display a warning message on the Leave Application when employees have insufficient leave balance. The employee can still submit the application and their leave balance will become negative. 

The ‘Prevent’ option will block the submission of the Leave Application when employees have insufficient leave balance.

Enhancement to Markbook: When 'Include all subject classes' is ticked, a comma separated list of classes with the Teacher Codes in brackets will display beside the subject name.  Hover over the Teacher Code to see the Teacher's Name.

Choose between typing your own email text or using one of the ready-made email templates.
