UD Areas (SK)
Overview
The ‘UD Areas’ section of the My Payroll/HR employee profile displays UD Areas.
UD Areas will be displayed on the left menu under the existing headings.
Important!
UD Areas can only be seen and modified by users who have ‘Edit’ and ‘View’ Permissions for that UD Area.
To enable this function, use TASS.web System Admin > Users > Portal Security Permissions or TASS.web Payroll/HRM > Employee/HR > Setup Information > Employee/HR Setup. Select the HR User Defined Areas tab and click Roles.
Users can review and submit updates to the UD Area.
Click the 'Update' button to submit updates. An icon will indicate an update is pending until the details have been reviewed and accepted in TASS.web.
Updates submitted by employees must be reviewed and accepted before they are accepted into TASS.web using TASS.web Payroll/HRM > Employee/HR > Employee Information > Updates from Staff Kiosk.
Add UD Areas to Staff Kiosk using TASS.web Payroll/HRM > Employee/HR > Setup Information > Employee/HR Setup. Select the ‘HR User Defined Areas’ tab.
