TT - Print Room Timetables

Print Room Timetables Overview

This program allows you to print a timetable with the subject classes allocated to each room. It can be run for single or multiple rooms.

The information displayed within each timetable 'cell' includes:

  • Year Group.
  • Subject (abbreviation).
  • Class.
  • Teacher code.

Timetable

If your school is operating with multiple timetables, use this field to select the correct timetable.

Timetables are set up using program Student Admin > Timetable > Setup Information > Timetable Setup on the 'Timetable Definitions' tab.

Year/Semester

These must match the 'Timetable' selected directly above.

Rooms

Use this field to select the room(s) to include.

This field allows multiple selections. Holding down the 'Shift' key while clicking on your options permits a range selection, holding down the 'Ctrl' key enables selection of discrete (individual) criterion.

If you leave this field blank, it will include all rooms.

Rooms are setup using program Student Admin > Timetable > Setup Information > Timetable Setup on the 'Rooms' tab.

Campus

Use this field to print the room timetable for a particular Campus.

Leave this blank to print the room timetable for all Campus'.

The 'campus' field can only be used as a filter if you have set up your timetable to allow the uploading and operation of separate campus timetables.

Print Tab

The 'Print' tab allows the user to choose the 'destination' of the report. This can be to Adobe® PDF viewer, Microsoft Excel® or Microsoft Word®.

The 'Print' tab is also used to format the report. Sorting options are available on the left side of the screen.

These include:

  • Room Code.
  • Description.

Include Line/Block Code (YrGrp)

Or

Include Year Group

If your school is running a non-unitised or horizontal timetable, you can include 'Line/Block Code (YrGrp)'.

'Line/Block Code (YrGrp)' are set up against the subject records (if you are using a non-unitised timetable) using programs:

Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Student Records Setup on the 'Subjects' tab (individually).

Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Subject Grid (in bulk).

If your school is running a unitised or vertical timetable, you can select the 'Include Year Group' option.

'Year Groups' are set up against the subject records (if you are using a unitised timetable) using programs:

Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Student Records Setup on the 'Subjects' tab (individually).

Student Admin > Student Records > Setup Information > Subject Grid (in bulk).
