Editing an Application

Overview

To edit an existing Leave/Other Application, navigate to Staff Kiosk Payroll/HR > My Payroll/HR > Leave / Other Applications, locate your application, and click the 'Edit' icon.

A Leave Application can be edited by employees when the application has a status of:

  • Draft

  • Unapproved (and there have been no subsequent approvals).

A Leave Application can be edited by the final approver in the workflow when the application has a status of:

  • Approved - not yet taken

  • Approved - part taken

Fields that require further explanation

Reason for Change

Use this field to record a comment of up to 1000 characters that explains the changes that you have made to this application.

Show Leave Log

The ‘Leave Log’ displays every change that is made to an application from the time that it is submitted, including:

  • The user who made the change.

If you were ghosted by another employee, the log will record the name of the user who ghosted you and your own.

  • The action taken:

    • Approve Application.

    • Reject Application.

    • Edit Application.

    • Draft Application.

    • Submit Application.

  • The date and time of change.

  • Status of the application (after the action was taken).

  • To whom the application is currently assigned.
