BOR - Meal Numbers Report

This report is used to determine potential meal numbers for catering purposes.

To determine meal numbers, it uses a combination of:

  • The current boarder numbers in the database, and
  • The approved leave records for boarders that will overlap into mealtimes.

Therefore this report relies on the 'Daily Times' for 'Breakfast', 'Lunch' and 'Dinner' that are set up through program Student Admin > Boarders > Setup Information > Boarders Setup.

Use the date selector on the 'General' tab to run the report for a single day or a date range.

The 'Prints' tab allows the user to choose the 'destination' of the report. This can be to Adobe® PDF viewer, Microsoft Excel® or Microsoft Word®.

The 'Print' tab is also used to format the report.

Grouping options are available on the left side of the screen.

The report can be grouped by:

  • Residence.
  • Year Group.

Alternatively, it can be run in a summarised form displaying totals only.

Use the checkboxes on the right side of the screen to indicate your preference for displaying 'Alternate Row Colours' and 'Table Borders'. These can enhance the readability of the report but are not available if the listing destination is Excel®.
