API Endpoint Maintenance

TASS.web System Admin > Utilities now includes an API Endpoint Maintenance program. This program offers a new way to access TASS data through API connections, allowing schools greater control over their data and access to each API endpoint.

API Endpoint Maintenance enables schools to create API Endpoint User Accounts and assign permissions for users to view, add, edit, or delete data across one or multiple companies. The program also generates the Key and Secret required for user authentication. Using their preferred API, users can then authenticate and perform GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE actions, depending on their permissions, by following the TASS API documentation at api.developer.tassweb.com.au.

API Endpoint access is currently available for TASS database fields related to Assessment (Activities), Employment/HR (Information, Notes, PD Activities, Photos, Qualifications, UD Areas), General Ledger (Accounts, Journals), Payroll (Leave Entitlements), Student Medical (Asthma Management, Immunisations, Medical Conditions, Medications, Notes, Practitioners, Supplementary Information), and Students (Information, Notes, Photos, UD Areas). More endpoint access will be added over time.

Most schools can use and access the API Endpoints immediately. However, a few need TASS Technical Services to install an update on their server first. If your school requires this installation, you would have received information about this in the email communications for the v01.2026.01.201 TASS Software Release.
