Student Medication Scheduling and Dispensing | The Student Medical and Illness modules have been updated with new features to support medication administration to students. This release allows users to add more medication-related information to what was previously available, schedule dates and times for medications, monitor when students are due to receive their medication and keep a log of medication dispensing records within TASS.web. Further information about the medications each student takes or has taken previously is now available on the new 'Medications' tab in TASS.web Student Admin > Medical Records > Student Information > Student Medical. From here, users can add new or modify existing medication-related details, including notes and attachments and create a schedule for when the medication must be dispensed. When medications are linked to a specific medical condition, the same medication-related information also becomes available in the Student Medical 'Medical Conditions' tab. Medications from this record can be dispensed from the new ‘Dispense Student Medication’ program in TASS.web Student Admin > Medical Records > Student Information, the ‘Student Illness/Daily Log’ or the ‘Illness’ tab of the Student Medical record. The ‘Dispense Student Medication’ has been designed to efficiently manage medication scheduling and dispensing. From here, users review the medication dispensing schedule for the day, access critical information about each medication, monitor the status of dispensing activities and generate a printed report.
