Teacher Competency Grid Overview

This program is used to allow the rapid entry of competencies against teachers.

Competencies are used within the Teacher Substitutions system to assist in the selection of a teacher who is suitably qualified to teach certain subjects.

Step 1

Use the 'Select Teacher' screen to pick the teachers that you would like to include in your grid.

Any column can sort the list of teachers by clicking the column heading.

After selecting your teachers, click the 'Next' button.

Step 2

The system will display the 'Subject Search Criteria' screen for subjects. Insert your filters and click the 'GO' button.

Enter a 'Y' or 'Yes' into any of the subjects that each teacher can teach.

Use the 'Fill Down' button to replicate the same data down the column.

If you make a mess, use the 'Restore' button to undo your changes. Unsaved data will be lost.

• The data will be restored to the last 'Save'.
  

• If you have not yet saved, the data will be restored to the way it was when you loaded the Grid.

Select 'Save' to commit your changes to the database or 'Cancel' to return to the selection screens.
