STR - Student Subject Listing
This is a multi-purpose listing that enables you to generate detailed student subject reports.
'Report Criteria' is entered into the fields displayed in the 'General' tab to filter the data produced in the report. A 'Year' and 'Semester' must be entered to generate the report.
The 'Year Group', 'House' and 'Campus' fields allow the selection of multiple year groups.
Holding down the 'Shift' key while clicking on your options permits a range selection; holding down the 'Ctrl' key enables selection of discrete (individual) criterion.
The 'Print' tab allows you to choose the technology used to display the report. The 'Formatting Options' are Adobe® Reader, Microsoft Excel® or Microsoft Word®. Sorting options are also available on the left side of the screen.
The right side of the screen enables selection of a range of formatting options specific to your choice of the technology used'. These options include: 'Show Table Borders', 'Alternate Row Colours', and 'Page Break by Form Class'.
The 'Alternate Row Colours' option significantly improves the readability of the report, whilst the 'Page Break by Form Class' produces a different page for each year/form class combination.
All of these options are available in both Adobe ® Reader (Portable Document Format) and Microsoft Word®. Microsoft Excel® includes none of these options.
Select 'Additional Fields' to include in the listing by highlighting them with a mouse click. The 'Student Code', 'Student Name', 'Year Group' and 'Subjects' fields are automatically included and are not available for selection.
