STR - Extra Curr. Tab
Overview
The Student Record ‘Extra Curricular’ tab displays the student's entire extra-curricular history at the school. It is also an access point to add, view, edit and delete any extra-curricular activities. The 'Year', 'Semester', 'Activity' and 'Level' are set fields for the school to populate, with an additional 10 fields available for the school to set up as further activity descriptors.
New activities are added by using the 'Add Activity' button in the top right corner and the 'View', 'Edit' and 'Delete' links allow you to action existing activities individually. A 'Confirm' and 'Cancel' button is offered to you after selecting the 'Delete' button, as a measure to reduce the amount of unnecessary, accidental deleting of data.
In add or edit mode, all of the fields are set up as table fields except the 'Year' field which is free form numeric text. Comments can be added to each activity at this stage, via its own 'Comments' collapsible panel.
Note that once a student has been accepted/assigned to an Activity Group, any Comments entered in this field are visible in Parent Lounge Extra Curricular.
