STR - Enter DOL for Seniors
Overview
The ‘Enter DOL for Seniors’ program automatically flags all students in their final year of school with a date of leaving.

Important!
Do not run this program until all student reports are completed.

Year Group | Select the current year group of the students for whom you want to set the Date of Leaving. |
Date of Leaving | Select the student’s Date of Leaving that will appear on their Student Record. You can set the student’s Date of Leaving (DOL) to their last attendance day or the next business day. The student will be considered ‘Current' until their ‘Date of Leaving' has passed. Setting the DOL to the day after the student’s last attendance ensures the student’s information remains accessible in Staff Kiosk and appears in reports for their final day. |
Click 'Go' to finalise the process.
Upon clicking ‘Go’, the program will automatically apply the ‘Date of Leaving’ field for the selected student records, and automatically update their ‘Next Year’ field with the ‘Leaving’ status until this date of leaving has passed. After the date of leaving has passed, the Next Year’ field status automatically updates to ‘Finished’.
The student remains current if a future date of leaving is set.
The status flag on the parent record will also change to 'Non-Current' once the last student in the family has passed their date of leaving. Non-current parents can still access Parent Lounge after their last child has departed for a set period of time. You can set the number of days that parents have access to their student's records via TASS.web Student Admin > Parent Records > Setup Information > Parent Lounge Setup on the ‘General’ tab.
For students in other year groups who are leaving, use TASS.web Student Admin > Student Records > Student Information > Students on the ‘General’ tab.
After the Date of Leaving has been entered, Enrolment Deposits can then be refunded to parents using TASS.web Finance > Parent Accounts > Student Deposit Refunds > Distribute Deposit Monies.
