School Links
Overview
A ‘School Link’ is a school-defined link or document set up for Staff Kiosk. A School Link can be a digital file (such as Word, PDF, or Excel) or a hyperlink to a website.
You can access them by navigating to the Staff Kiosk Links menu. Only the Links that your school has defined for ‘Staff Kiosk’ that you have permission to access will appear as menu options.
Your school can choose to display School Links to one or more of the following user groups:
Teachers and Employees (through the 'Links' button in Staff Kiosk and Staff Orbit).
Parents (through the 'School Links' button in Parent Lounge and Parent Orbit).
Students (through the 'School Links' menu option in Student Café and Student Orbit).
If you cannot open a School Link, contact your school’s TASS Administrator.
You can set up new School Links from Staff Kiosk Links > School Links (Maintain).
User Security Permissions
Each School Link has its own security access point in the ‘Links’ section of TASS.web System Admin > Users > Portal Security Permissions for Staff Kiosk. Staff Kiosk users must have the relevant security point assigned to them in order to see the School Link.
