Creating a Custom Roll for an Event

From the Events and Payments list screen, select the ‘checkboard’ icon in the 'Action' column to create a custom roll for an event. 

There are several ways that you can search for students to allocate to this custom roll:

  • Students

  • Subject Class

  • Extra-Curricular Activity

  • Events & Payments – Current

  • Events & Payments – Completed

  • Groups

  • My Saved Lists

The default Search Mode is Events & Payments - Current , Filtered by the current event and Filter Value 1 of Accepted. In other words Accepted students for the current event.

Once you have selected the 'Filter Mode', you will notice the other filters will change dynamically.

Select the 'Filter By' option, and then the 'Filter Value 1 and 2' options where applicable.

Click the 'Go' button to complete the search and display students in the 'Choose from these Students' column.

To allocate students to this custom roll:

  1. Select the students by clicking with your mouse.

Holding down the 'Shift' key while clicking on your options permits a range selection, holding down the 'Ctrl' key while clicking enables selection of multiple students.

  1. Use the arrow buttons to move the selected students to the 'Students Allocated to Custom Roll' column.

  2. Click the 'Submit New +' button to create the custom roll that can be marked later or click the 'Submit & Mark Roll' to update the students included in the Custom Roll.
