ATT - Update Student Statistics

Overview

The Update Student Statistics program will enable you to update the student attendance statistics used in various reports for a nominated attendance year and period.

Absence statistics are kept by attendance period for each student and for each absent type. For statistical purposes, this program will calculate the number of absence types for each student.

This program is run as a scheduled task and therefore updates the student statistics for the 'current' attendance period every night but can be run outside of the scheduled time.

When selected from the menu the current attendance year and period will be displayed. You may nominate to change these defaults; however, a 'Year' and 'Period' must be entered for the program to run.
