What is TASS Software Version naming convention?

From version 57 onwards, TASS started using a simplified naming convention that aligns to the month of each release. For example, v57.6 was released in June, v57.7 in July, and v57.8 in August (and so on). From January 2023, TASS versions rolled over to v58.1 and continued using this naming convention thereafter.

In January 2026, you may have noticed that we have moved from version 60 to version 2026. Why? To make things simpler and more meaningful. Our new versioning aligns with the calendar year (v2026) and the release month (.01 for January). This new format makes it easier to track when a release happened and helps you stay aligned with our development cycle.
