What is a 'Friendly School' and a 'Friendly Release'?
A 'Friendly Release' is early access to a new version of the TASS software.
A 'Friendly School' is a customer who takes this early access version and also agrees to provide user acceptance testing and feedback on specific features hidden behind a 'Feature Flag', prior to General Release.
A 'Friendly Release' generally occurs two weeks before the General Release date. This gives you time to provide user acceptance testing and feedback on specific features before the General Release.
For schools that have a test instance of the TASS database, the early updates can be applied to either the test instance or the live instance.
If your school would like to join Friendly Releases, you can register here.
