Calendar / Resource Booking System Integration | There is now greater integration between the areas where rooms and resources are used (timetable, PTI conferences, calendar events, resource booking system). Validations occur at various stages to check if an action will result in a room or resource conflict, such as when adding events to the calendar, and the user will be advised of these conflicts when attempting to save. You can control whether booking conflicts are allowed, and when you have set that they are not permitted, the user is not able to book the unavailable resource. The previous 'School Calendar(View)' and 'School Calendar (Maintain)' programs have been combined into a single 'School Calendar' program, where the school calendar can be viewed and events added from the one place (where applicable permissions are assigned). |
Custom Rolls: SMS to parents on Save and SMS Keywords | SMS messages can now be sent to parents of students who are marked absent from Custom Rolls, when they are flagged as absent in the new custom rolls 'Unexplained' checkbox. New parameters have been added to the Custom Roll setup in Staff Kiosk giving you options in this area:
