Gender Fluidity

The new Gender Fluidity features will allow you to fully configure your own genders and implement them accordingly — allowing your school to autonomously decide what works best for its community. 

Student Sickbay Sign-In

The new Illness Self Registration (ISR) system allows students to sign in and out of sickbay themselves, taking unnecessary pressure off school nurses and allowing them to do what they do best — taking care of Students and their needs.

Student Cafe - My Details & Analytics 

Students will have access to: 

• View their details including their Student Code, Mobile Phone, Email Address, State Student Identifier (e.g. LUI Number), USI and Alternate ID. 

• Monitor their own academic success through analytics, providing easy to consume visuals to track and compare progress.

Extra Curricular Student Sign-Up

Allow students to sign-up to extracurricular activities online within Student Café.

Identity Management (IdM) API 

The IdM API facilitates the linking of TASS.web and portal user accounts with your school's User Authentication system (LDAP or SAML) by supporting the maintenance of usernames, email addresses and now security role permissions. 

System Log Viewer

TASS Administrators can now see System Logs through the UI. The mail log being one of the most commonly used — you'll be able to download the log from this program which can assist with troubleshooting. 

SMS Character Limit Expansion 

Sending long SMS Messages with up to 800 characters can be switched on globally. 

Bank Fraud Detection 

Accounts Payable programs Approve EPs and Auto Payments will check Supplier Account and BSB Number in the current Electronic Processing payment run against the latest Bank Account audit log record and display a warning. 

Parent Billing: Reducing Balance 

The Reducing Balance Discount Rule allows a percentage value in Student Billing Flags.

This will allow schools to apply a Student Sibling Discount (off the Gross Tuition) then apply a 10% Scholarship Discount for an individual student (off the Net Tuition).

Email Templates: ASR Late for School and Pastoral Care

New additions to the email templates include: 

• Attendance Self Registration Late for School 'System' email template: A notification will be sent to the class teacher when a student registers as 'Late for School'.

• Pastoral Care email templates: Create your own email template to use when sending emails through the Pastoral Care module in Staff Kiosk. This includes support for Word Merge documents (Note: the PDF Conversion API is required for Word Merge Documents).

Learning Support Enhancements

The following listings have been added to the Learning Support module in Staff Kiosk:

• Adjustments.

• Adjustment Evidence.

• Class Plans.

• Support Plans.

This information will also be available on the individual Student Support Plans listing as well as options to include:

• Signatory lines (defined in the Setup).

• Communications i.e. Emails sent out using the categories defined in the Setup.

• Notes added to the Support Plan.
