PR - Schedule Tab (SU)
Overview
The ‘Schedule’ tab in Payroll Setup is used to create and maintain 'Work Schedule Week' records.
'Work Schedule Weeks' are used for part-time employees as per 'Work Schedule' to identify their days and hours of work.
This will be used in conjunction with Online Leave Applications to prevent these from submitting a leave application for a day they are not scheduled to work.
The number of 'Work Schedule Weeks' required will depend on the working cycle of the part-time employees.
An example of this might be a part-time employee who works Monday, Tuesday and Friday in the first week but only Thursday and Friday in the second week. This would only require 2 Work Schedule Weeks to be created.
Work Schedule Weeks Grid
The ‘Work Schedule Weeks Grid’ shows the number of work schedule weeks in your TASS database along with their descriptions.

Week | This read-only column displays the work schedule week number. |
Description | This read-only column displays the description of the work schedule week. |
Action | Click ‘View’ to see the Work Schedule Week information in a view-only format. Click ‘Edit’ to modify the Work Schedule Week description. Click ‘Update’ when complete to save your changes. Click ‘Delete’ to remove the Work Schedule Week. When a Work Schedule Week is currently in use, you cannot delete it. |
Create a New Work Schedule Week
Click the 'New Work Schedule Week' button to add a new Work Schedule Week.
