Push Notifications  

Enhancements to include Push Notifications on mobile devices for notifications generated from: 

• Staff Kiosk > Notifications 

• Staff Kiosk > Pastoral Care automatic notifications 

Sounds super simple, but it wasn't :)

Quick Links - Homepage

On the homepage, this version includes, 'Quick Links' which sit above the 'Items to Action' section. The user can swipe through available links. 

This includes all school links that have been ticked to 'Include in Parent Orbit App' and 'Homepage'. 

The size of the tile is auto-adjusted based on how many links you have made available. If more than a certain amount of links have been ticked (dependent on device) for the homepage, then the user will need to swipe to see all links. 

Enhancements have been made in v58.4.200 to Staff Kiosk > School Links > School Links (Maintain) to include new tick boxes to control what appears in the app and where. 

Illness Details Dashboard 

Within the Student area, the Illness Details tile has been enhanced to include a dashboard: 

This includes:

• Line graph for Illness Log Duration: amount of time spent in sick bay.

• Time filter: Month, This Year, Last Year, All Time.

• Condition count: total amount of entries into sick bay for each Condition and Last Occurrence date.

• Treatment count: total amount of entries into sick bay for each Treatment and Last Occurrence date.

• Button for 'Illness History': illness log records. 

Login

Update the Parent Orbit app to include the new Parent Orbit app logo. This will also be using when loading the initial login.

Calendar - eDiary

Enhancement to change some of the eDiary feed colours to ensure they're each different enough to differentiate the type and to ensure some are not super bright.

Calendar - eDiary

Enhance the eDiary to drop the Timetable feed down to the last sort order. Previously, it was based on time. Keep this logic except where it’s a timetable event. This provides the user with more visibility on what else is happening with the student as Timetable entries are on every single day.

The sort order for events below the calendar remains in time order.

Accounts - School Fees Account

Fix to ensure that parents who do not have access to the Billing address in Split Family Access, no have have access to School Fees. A two part fix has been implemented:
1. Additional information is returned to Orbit to ensure that if the Split Family parent does not have access to the Billing address, the 'School Fees Account' tile will not appear.
2. For additional security, a change to the deep link API will be implemented in TASS. This includes a friendly message to the parent if they hit the School Fees Account screen to advise they are unable to access it.

Fix to ensure the user can successfully refresh the app after a scope update. Previously, the app needed to be restarted after a scope update as the loading bar was continuously loading.

Removed additional sign-in requirement when using SAML (for Parent Lounge and Parent Orbit) for deep links. This includes the 'School Fees Account' and 'Events & Payments' tiles.
