Is setting up additional genders optional?

Only your school can decide what works best for its community, therefore setting up any additional genders is completely optional.

If your school has a need to implement more genders, the gender fluidity functionality is there for you. If your school does not have a need, or simply prefers not to, that is also 100% your choice.
