How to Print Individual Messages on Employee Pay Envelopes

Create an employee 'Note Category' with the code 'ENV' and the description 'Pay Envelope Message' using program Payroll HRM > Employee/HR > Setup Information > Employee HR Setup on the 'Note Categories' tab.

Enter a confidential note using this 'Note Category' for an employee through program Payroll HRM > Payroll > Employee Information > Employees. It should be no longer than 200 characters.

The note date must equal the 'Period End date' for the pay run in which you want the message to print out on the envelope. 

If you don't know the period end date use program Payroll HRM > Payroll > Setup Information > Payroll Calendars.

During the pay run, use program Payroll HRM > Payroll > Pay Run Processing > Pay Envelopes to indicate that employee confidential notes are to be included on the pay envelopes for that pay run.

On the 'Print Tab' in the 'Message Options' section of the screen, tick the 'Use text from Employee's Confidential Notes' checkbox and indicate the 'Note Category' (ENV from Point 1 above) to use.
